  • Five days of ICT4Renewables training ended successfully on June 29th, 2018at the EnDev office, led by ICT expert and ICT4Renewavles developer Hamza Zbidi. Participants from Ministries, NGOs, EnDev and the private sector learned about EnDev-Collect App, EnDevCarto mapping tool, www.renewables-liberia.info web portal and Renewables Liberia social media – the information and communication technology (ICT) tools of the ICT4Renewables toolbox.

  • PAYNESVILLE, Montserrado – Mercy Corps has graduated 169 students from its Light Up Liberia program in collaboration with GIZ EnDev, a four-month technical and vocational training program in renewable energies. These 169 students comprise of students from the Monrovia vocational training center, Booker Washington Institute, and Stella Maris Polytechnic which is apart of the four TVETS for the pilot phase of the curriculum development component of  Light up Liberia.

  • On May 28, 2018, the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the African Energy Commission (AFREC) conducted a one week intensive training on Energy Statistics, focusing on Energy Efficiency and data collection. 

  • Paynesville, 15.11.2018 - African Energy finished a two day training for solar dealers and installers in the Outreach Compound in Paynesville. One of the world’s leading companies in the renewable energy industry partnered with West Coast Energy and Energising Development (EnDev) to conduct a two day renewable energy training. Over 60 solar installers and dealers participated.
